Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will meet your Tanzania Specialist Guide. This will take you to your hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure, you can relax and enjoy the African atmosphere. Your personal and experienced Tanzania Specialist Guide not only knows a lot about the Tanzanian culture, but can also tell you a lot about the beautiful National Parks and sights of the country. So don’t be afraid to ask your Tanzania Specialist Guide questions – he will be happy to answer them all.
This trip is an exclusive private safari so you can enjoy your trip to the fullest! You can decide for yourself when to leave in the morning and when to return in the evening. You can also observe a specific animal or herd for as long as you like during the safari. You don’t have to be considerate of anyone. Your personal guide will advise you during the safari so that your trip will be an unforgettable experience.
Tomorrow morning your safari will begin
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha airport for your flight to north of Serengeti where your naturalist guide will be waiting for you.
You have the option to check into your hotel / tented camp or straight away head out for a full day game drive in the wilderness tracking the Great migration trails. Witness million wildebeests, each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life: a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating; survival of the fittest as 40km (25 mile) long columns plunge through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north.

Optional: Early morning, head out for a balloon safari. View the Serengeti plains from a hot air balloon, followed by a champagne breakfast on the landing site.
You will have a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park. To experience more river crossings by the wildebeests in the mid-morning then thereafter Head over to the rock kopjes where you have a good chance of seeing some of the cat families. Cheetahs and lions use these giant rock outcrops as observation posts.

Get a morning wake-up call by a bird chorus. After breakfast, you will drive south towards the central Serengeti to the endless plains of Serengeti via the previous routes taken by the migrating heard as they heard north. Have a game drive en-route to central Serengeti, exploring the many different areas of the park. Your driver-guide will advise on the best places to visit.

Serengeti, a UNESCO world heritage site, is home to around 200,000 zebras, and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle, which join in the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Our experienced driver tour guide will provide you with interesting facts about this highly renowned event, which makes Tanzania the top safari destination in Africa.
Overnight will be at a lodge or tented camo, which is centrally located adjacent to the famous Western Corridor and Grumeti River, the lodge has been designed to blend completely into the living landscape and commands a panoramic view across Serengeti.

After breakfast, exit the Serengeti with an en-route game drive, heading back through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Continue to descend into the crater for a game drive. There are 25,000 large mammals residing in the park.
The elephants are mainly bulls, as the females stay out of the park due to it boasting with the largest predator population in Africa. Black rhinos also inhabit the grassy plains, their numbers make up for almost half of what can still be found in East Africa, about or over 20 in total.

Depart from Gibbs farm in the morning after breakfast and begin the drive through a changing landscape to Tarangire National Park for game drives in the “Elephant Playground”. You will go on a game drive en-route to Tarangire Safari Lodge for a hot lunch and relaxation. Head out again in the late afternoon for a sunset game drive and return to Tarangire- Mpingo Lemala Camp
After breakfast we head back Arusha for shopping market on the way then lunch at Arusha coffee lodge then transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for onward flight
